Meet Dr. Farhood

Dr. Zachary Farhood is a double board-certified Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon. His expertise focuses exclusively on the face and neck, specializing in Deep Plane Facelifts, Deep Neck Lifts, Eyelid Lifts (Blepharoplasty), Brow Lifts, Lip Lifts, and Rhinoplasty. His approach to aesthetic surgery focuses on balancing facial harmony and enhancing natural beauty while maintaining one’s unique character and authenticity

Education

Dr. Farhood graduated with high honors from the University of Texas, Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and completed his medical education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston – home to the world’s largest medical center. In his final year, he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

After obtaining his medical degree, he completed a clinical research fellowship in the Department of Otolaryngology at the Medical University of South Carolina where he conducted numerous clinical trials, published extensively in the scientific literature, and presented his work at several national meetings. He has produced over 50 peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and book chapters.

He then completed a five-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Saint Louis University, earning multiple accolades for his teaching, compassionate care, and scholastic achievements

Fellowship

Following residency, he pursued advanced fellowship training via the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery with Jamil Asaria, MD at the University of Toronto, ranked by Times Higher Education as 5th in the world for clinical and health and 2nd among North American public institutions.

Known as the most diverse city in the world, Dr. Farhood treated patients of various cultural backgrounds in the glamorous Yorkville neighborhood, including high-profile celebrities, athletes, and politicians, and brings an international eye with special attention to detail for his patients.
