Restore a Youthful Look
Brow Lift
What is a brow lift?
Over time gravity does its best to change the way we look. The forehead and brow are often the first areas to yield to the aging process, making us look older than we actually are. Fortunately, this phenomenon can be reversed with a properly performed brow lift procedure.
With a brow lift procedure heavy brows are elevated to their original position and wrinkles in the forehead are reduced for a younger, refreshed look.
There are several methods which can be used to perform a brow lift. Because men and woman age differently, the approach is usually slightly different for each. Dr. Farhood will work with you to determine which method best suites you, your skin type and the issues you want to resolve with your brow lift.
Brow Lift: Why Not Look Younger?
A brow lift, when performed correctly, smooths deeply-etched forehead creases and lifts the upper face for a more youthful, open look. Dr. Farhood uses advanced surgical techniques to reposition the muscles and skin, with incisions invisible once healed. He is known for his outstanding outcomes in this delicate facial surgery. You want to look younger, more vital, and attractive, and want to ensure your vision is achieved. You can expect the outcome of a brow lift with Dr. Farhood to appear fresh and natural, not pulled or odd.
The first step in facial rejuvenation with a brow lift is a personal evaluation. A brow lift may be performed endoscopically, or with incisions hidden within the hairline. If you are unhappy with the appearance of deep forehead creases, a sagging or heavy brow, and are seeking treatment to restore a more vital, youthful appearance, you want to enlist the help of the most talented plastic surgeon you can find. Dr. Farhood is a revered facial plastic surgeon known creating subtle, beautiful results with brow lift surgery.
Every person who comes to Dr. Farhood chooses our facial plastic surgery center because we are known for achieving exceptional results in brow lift surgery – subtle, natural, and refreshed, never pulled. To achieve a smoothed, youthful look requires tightening the soft tissues and skin on the brow to address sagging skin, creases, and lines. A youthful brow is smooth and flawless, with tissues and skin repositioned to resolve an aging, tired look, lift eyelids slightly, and achieve a look that is younger, refreshed, and more approachable.
Brow Lift Recovery and aftercare
Recovery from a brow lift varies patient to patient, depending upon whether the lift was performed endoscopically, as an open brow lift, or with a limited incision technique. Plan to set aside two to three weeks to fully recover. In the initial stages of healing, you will need to keep your head elevated, and apply ice packs to help reduce swelling. If your procedure required sutures, they will be removed about one week following surgery. You should take gentle walks as exercise, but avoid lifting anything heavy, including children and pets!
