FAQs
What type of anesthesia is used?
Most surgical cases are done under general anesthesia with the patient fully asleep. This is to provide maximum comfort for the patient so that Dr. Farhood can place his full attention on getting you the desired result. We work with the same group of board-certified anesthetists to assure the highest standard of care and safety. General anesthesia is well-tolerated by patients at our surgical facility.
Where is the procedure performed?
The procedure is performed at our on-site, Medicare-certified ambulatory surgery center. Again, we work with the same nurses, scrub technicians, and board-certified anesthetists every day to ensure consistent, high quality care.
What is the cost of each procedure?
A fee of $100 is required to book a consultation with Dr. Farhood. If you are deemed a surgical candidate, that fee is then applied toward the cost of your procedure. We are unable to give blanket pricing without a personalized consultation as each patient needs to be individually evaluated to determine if they are a candidate for a procedure and what procedure(s) they may need. The ultimate cost includes the fees for the surgery, the operating room equipment and personnel, anesthesia, as well as all postoperative visits. Please note that fees may increase based on the complexity of the case.
Do you offer financing?
